Currently, the outside temperatures in the Albany capital region are in the single digits. Thinking of warmer moments, I looked back on a series of images made in early spring,

These Cherry Plain Springtime Geese were foraging around a black pond swamp as the setting sun illuminated the scene. It was a grand moment.  I was well camouflaged behind a beaver dam berm with my D5 and 70-200. The pair of woodland geese warily swam around alert to the sound of camera shutter clicks coming from the brush.
